About the GBRC

The Greater Baltimore Regional Chapter (GBRC) is the first of six regional chapters established under the MDHCC’s bylaws in order to carry out and advance the MDHCC's strategic objectives and activities within their geographic boundaries.

This structure increases direct member benefit and value by providing a local and responsive platform to address local business issues; providing access through established local government relations to decision makers and policy influencers; and providing access to the entire MDHCC membership comprised of other regional and local chapters throughout the State.

At the heart of the GBRC is the BAM! Program, which will be piloted on a smaller scale before its statewide rollout. BAM! will assign corporate partners and seasoned professionals to provide access to procurement opportunities and mentorship for the MDHCC’s small business members.

GBRC Leadership Team

Corina Morga
GBRC President
Corina's passion for helping people is reflected in all her efforts and is fueled by the desire to support those in need.  She supports the local community with a small business and a non-profit, BmoreLatina, which helps disadvantaged women and children build economic independence and empowerment through understanding how to navigate the paths to the success achieved by upward mobility of the American Dream.  A Los Angeles native with a Harford County, MD upbringing, her business in construction cleaning is built upon her blue-collar roots.  As a compassionate business owner, she understands the success of building a business is achieved by demonstrating leadership and support for her employees and the communities they represent. In 2016, she won the title "Woman of the Year" for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in a victorious fundraising effort to support baby Brielle and her grandfather's legacy.

Daniel Ramos
GBRC Vice President

Daniel Ramos is the Assistant Director of the Office of the Innovation for the Baltimore City Department Social Services (BCDSS). During Ramos's time at BCDSS he recruited and trained a team of analysts to start the Office of Innovation. He led the transition to new modern analytic tools to conduct exploratory analysis of the children and families in Baltimore served by the Agency. Ramos has also spearheaded the use of Lean/Six-Sigma at BCDSS and dramatically increased the efficiency of internal operations. Ramos came to BCDSS from the Baltimore City Fire Department (BCFD). At BCFD Ramos worked within a tradition-bound agency to prove the value of data analysis and the tangible benefits of process improvement. He created the staffing and fleet replacement models, metrics, and budgets for BCFD’s proposal to restructure the EMS Division to put an additional 8 medic units in-service during peak times, without increasing the operating budget. Prior to that Ramos was a Mayoral Fellow with the City of Baltimore working to improve EMS availability by reducing time spent at hospitals. Ramos is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University where he was a student-athlete and recipient of the Aitchison Public Service in Government Fellowship.
